I’ve had an odd injury in the back of my calves since a couple weeks before my marathon last November. Probably due to over-training, it manifests as muscle weakness when I lean forward, so I can’t quite stand up straight.
My podiatrist has prescribed a course of physical therapy that’s fairly grueling… 3 times per day, with stretches and muscle workouts using a yoga band. I’ve just created a document today to track every time I do it, to make sure I get it done — but I failed today and I only managed to do it twice.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get in an extra set tomorrow at lunch time at the office.
